Work Projects

Currently our Chapter is involved in building the primrose beds outside the downtown Juneau Library. This past year we had hauled in and spread about five yards of rich topsoil. Some planting took place, but there is much more to do. At the annual picnic late last year Chapter members laid out a planting plan (Thanks Julia!). We hope to continue populating the beds with primula this spring and summer. Look both here and on our Google calendar to find out when we are scheduling planting "outings" this spring. This is a great way for new members to come and meet our members in an informal setting and get their hands dirty too!
